Darling Smog is a small, woman- and veteran-owned smog shop on historic Route 66 in Glendora. We test cars, rideshares, diesels, trucks, and RVs, and we try to make it the easiest errand on your list.

How we work

We want you to leave knowing exactly what was tested and what comes next. We’re a test-only station, so we don’t do repairs. We walk you through your results and send them to the DMV before you leave.

What you can expect

• Transparent, easy-to-understand answers. Ask us anything.
• A shaded lounge with comfy chairs, fans, and cold water.
• A windshield wiper fluid top-off on us.
• Most smog checks done in about 15 minutes.
• Walk-ins welcome, or book ahead online.

What we test

• Smog checks for gas and hybrid cars (2000 and newer) and diesel cars and pickups (1998 and newer). These are state smog checks under the Bureau of Automotive Repair (BAR).
• RV smog checks for RVs under 12,000 lbs GVWR.
• Uber and Lyft inspections, the official 19-point form.
• CARB Clean Truck Check for trucks, RVs, and fleets: OBDII, smoke opacity, and visual inspections. This is a separate program run by the California Air Resources Board (CARB). We come to your yard, or you can bring it to us.
